ONE OF MY FAVES..........Laura Moore's Rosewood Trilogy

SOOOOOO, I am beyond excited to have Laura Moore for a chat tomorrow night at 9 PM eastern time. Her third book in the Rosewood Trilogy drops tomorrow March 27. I LOVE Laura, a former customer told me I had to read her. I did. I was hooked from the getgo. I became a HUGE fan girl, and sold sooo many copies that Laura took a road trip and did a signing at my store. She was so impressed with our store, she promised to do a signing the day the third book dropped. Well, sadly there is no more store, sooo she will be here. What I love most about Laura is that she is completely oblivious about how AMAZING her books are. She is a FANTASTIC voice in contemporary romance. I fell in love w/ these 3 sisters, their challenges, struggles, and their love interests. She made me feel at times that I was right their w/ Margot, Jordan and Jade.


Laura blew me away when she came to the store. She is quiet and so very lovely. Loved talking books with her, we like to read a lot of the same authors. I saw a friend over the weekend who came to the signing, and when I told her Laura was coming on the blog she was soooo excited. She normally does not read romance, she is a murder girl. She LOVED the books and cant wait for Jade's book.

Book 5 in the A-Tac series Deadly Dance

A-Tac are CIA operatives that all work undercover at Sunderland College.

This was Hannah Marshall (who was Jason's partner who was killed in a previous book) and Harrison Blake (who was previously with the FBI serial killer unit and in an earlier series)

It's an other explosive start of an A-Tac book. The team is following up on a lead on an antiques dealer with ties to the Consortium (an arms cartel they have been trying to bring down throughout the series). What they didn’t realize is that it was a trap and the building is blown up with Hannah barely making it out alive.

As this is happening a student on campus is taken. After Hannah's TA shows her a video she received on her phone of a girl tied to a bed and being tortured the team realize the two are connected. After finding the girl dead and the way she is positioned in her death Harrison realizes the similarities to a serial killer he was tracking years ago called the Cyber Killer that also had killed his twin sister.

He brings in some of his old team from his FBI days to try and figure out who the killer is and stop him before he takes another girl. As the danger escalates and more girls are taken , Hannah and Harrison grow closer, and they give into the desire simmering between them. And when Hannah disappears, Harrison has to make sure that Hannah fate doesn’t end up like his sisters.

Another great suspense read from Ms Davis that has a bit of a twist at the end. I look forward to reading Simon's books next.

This was another insanely high intense book. You are on the edge of your seat for the whole book. This continues the story of Roger and Mari, Rico and Angie and Jack and Lauren. The bad guys are home grown terrorist and international terrorist both killing many people here on American soil.

I loved Roger (an American Lt Col) and Mari (who is from Afghanistan) in the first book and couldn’t wait to see how the author was going to tell their story and she didn’t disappoint. Her father who sentenced her to death plays a big role in this book.

Rico and Angie who were both kidnapped along with Lauren's children in the first book also get plenty of face time in this book. Rico is still not healed physically from his ordeal in Lebanon, the mission that has affected all the men involved deeply. There story does not end with a HEA so I am hoping the next book is about them.

We also go to see the start of what I hope is a future romance between Col Dekker and Airman Holly Gear. We learned more about Beck who is of Native American decent and seems to have an interesting past that the author still just gave us little glimpses of.

Some treads were wrapped up in this book from the first one but many more were started and of course home grown terrorist Frank Dugar is still out there somewhere. I am looking forward to the next installment in this series.

I had the pleasure of working on this book. I was blown away. It is AMAZING!!!! A very good friend and I realized, she too was beta reading Stephanie. To say that I totally fell in love with Quinn Masters and Grace Matthews would be a huge understatement. I loved the commit they had to each other while knowing the costs. I found myself thinking about them even after I put the book down.

Their journey to rescue Grace’s sister while fighting their own destiny is fast pace and action packed. There is never a dull moment. We are also introduced to some wonderful secondary characters that really help complete the story. I am hoping to see some of these characters to return with their own story. (Well there are 2 more books and I can always hope!)

I absolutely loved the fantastic world that Stephanie Rowe has created. The richness and the details for this world were unique. She gave this paranormal story a totally new and fresh approach. It left me guessing till the very end! I guess that’s why Stephanie has been a Four-time RITA® Award nominee and Golden Heart® Award winner! Janet......



Dayum...Well said Janet!!!! I soo agree, I was sucked in from the beginning. LOVED the world, LOVED the HAWT men, LOVED the connections between them all.. The mens relationships with each other as well as their interactions with the Heroine... The Hero was tooo die for... AND their chemistry was off the charts. I am dying for the next book too... I HIGHLY suggest you check this out. Especially if you are a lover of paranormal.

Noah Boyd.......THE BRICKLAYER & AGENT X

HAPPY, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Hope all are well.... I have been babysitting the most adorable 1 year old for 2 days.... So a little pre-occupied. Yesterday, a friend returned the 2 books I am gonaa talk about today.....


These 2 books are PHENOMENAL!!! Suspense, mystery, some sexual tension and AMAZING main characters.... I LOVED these books, and then made my husband read them. He also enjoyed them. I liken the main character to be a cross between MacGuiver and a VERY HOT.... OOPS, lost focus.....

I am so sad to say that the author has passed away. He in real life was a FBI agent, his name was Paul Lindsay. He also wrote books under his name as well. I have not read them yet. If you enjoy Patterson, Grisham and those type books.....You can not pass these books up.....(they are sooo much better) Steve Vail is such a kick ass character, witty, tough and really smart. Kate Bannon is the heroine, she is strong and I loved the dialogue between them.... She calls it as she sees it...

Today we have a real treat. Cindy won an ARC of Afterglow by the FANTABULOUS Cherry Adair. She has read and reviewed, I really enjoy reading Cindy's summaries of books.....I have asked her if I may twist her arm occasioally and post. YAY, here it is....I am so jealous, can not wait to read this book....*rubbing hands together*

In Cherry’s 2nd book in the Lodestone series we start off with a twist on the don’t drink the Kool-Aid. At a wedding reception someone spikes the champagne with an aphrodisiac and all inhibitions are lost.

Rand Maguire used to be a stuntman and is now security specialist to the stars. His current job was to protect the celebrity guests at a wedding. Well that didn’t turn out so great. He calls Zak from the Lodestone group asking to send someone that can help figure out what and who could have done this. Was it a terrorist act or someone’s sick sense of humor?

Dakota North is sent to the hotel by Zak because of her previous history as a pharmaceutical chemist. Dakota and Rand’s father were the creators of DL6-94 which she thinks the guest were given. Its highly addictive and lethal in large doses. Which Rand knows all too well, since his mother died from it and his father is in jail for her murder. All of which he blames Dakota for.

Dakota has the same type of ability Zak does. She can touch an object and see coordinates to track the owner of the item. This leads Rand and Dakota on a chase from Monte Carlo to Barcelona to a bank. But when they get there they find the aphrodisiac has been released airborne and everyone is dead. Both Rand and Dakota inhale the toxin and whew for the next couple of pages you need a fan and a cigarette after.

From here we are taken on a wild ride. It is nonstop action from Spain to France where they scour the catacombs under the Paris streets to jumping out of a moving vehicle. You start to get the impression that both the bad guys and the good guys are not who they say they are.

During all of this both Rand and Dakota are still dealing with the pain of their broken engagement 2 years before. She is still in love with him but due to many misunderstandings he thinks he hates her even though he is still very attracted to her.

From the opening scene to the shocking ending this book was one thrill ride. I look forward to the next book in this series.



Afterglow is being released on March 20....If you have not checked out this series. Start with HUSH, the first book. It was AWESOME....I LOVED it. And I am choppin at the bit to read AFTERGLOW. Cherry Adair weaves a FANTASTIC story with action, suspense, and her books are also sooo HOT & SEXY!!!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! Hope every one had a good week. Couple things on the agenda..... I have had some inquiries about my FIL.... Miraculously he is doing much better. It's been a looong haul and he is in rehab but he is with us. It is awesome that he pulled thru, he still has many issues but we are soooo thankful. And thank you to EVERY single prayer and good wish. He was on his death bed and now he is sitting in a wheel chair conversing and reading the paper. My kids are thrilled....THANKS AGAIN....

Well on my recent trip I finally read the last book by Beverly Barton. I had been putting it off for awhile. I am sooo sad that Beverly passed away. She was such an amazing and talented author. I have been reading her forever, and just devoured her books. For me it was such a bittersweet read, knowing I will never get to visit these characters again.... I enjoyed the book immensely.

My friend and fellow reviewer Cindy, recommended this series. I absolutely LOVED it. And I received a special treat a lot of characters in 3rd book were from a former series(which I read, the HAWT, SEXY Gemini Men). It was fantastic how she incorporated them into this so we could see what they are up too. AWESOME!!!! You do not need to read them to understand the story, but they are sooo worth it......

From start to finish, I enjoyed them immensely. I really enjoy Jami Alden's style of writing. Her characters are likeable and I could not put the books down. I also LOVE when I wait to read a series, so I have them ALL waiting for me, a little birdie sent me the 3rd book as a gift. Just in time I might add. I have to say I had a major thing for the Hero in the last book Jack.... Can't explain it, just thought he was special. Not that I did not LOVE Cole & Sean... But we all have our FAVES.....


If you enjoy suspense, murder, and sexy romance, I suggest you add these to your ever growing pile of FAB books to read. They are soooo worth it...
